My review...
Beautifully written prose and a wonderful story. I think this would be a great story to read to young children. It might have to be broken up into three or four sittings but that’s perfect before bed time, Isn’t it?
I only have one problem with this book and that is the illustrations. They are interesting but quite abstract. I think they are a little more sophisticated than you might find in such a delightful child’s story.
However, I don’t see anything that would keep me from adding this to a children’s collection.
