Abby Johnson stared at her reflection
in the mirror. She didn’t look like a sex worker. At least not the kind who
walked the streets looking for a John. No, she looked respectable, proper, like
a woman headed out for a classy evening with her loving partner.
Her long brunette tresses were secured
in a loose upsweep. A few tendrils accented her face. Her makeup was subtle,
but still highlighted her blue eyes. Only her lips stood out because of her
deep burgundy lipstick. She did another swipe with the lipstick and pressed her
lips together.
The dark emerald sequin dress was
reminiscent of the Roaring 20s. She loved this dress. The way light glittered
from the beads and sequins made her feel beautiful. She hoped the man would
like her dress. From what she’d read on his file, he could be a lucrative
repeat customer.
Her cell dinged, signaling that her
ride was here. She clasped the choker, a discreet recording device, around her
neck. Then she dropped her cell into her purse and slipped into her stilettoes.
After one more look in the mirror, she headed for the limo.
