My review...

A fun story about Amber's walk in the woods with her grandmother and her pup. Nice prose to read and bright, sweet, colorful illustrations. The mix of colors and the story can do nothing but make you smile. 

This is a short children's book; maybe 17 pages in the hardcover version. Depending on the reading skill of a child I think the age level would be between 5 and 8. I also think this would be a great book to read to any age child. So many animals and flowers are mentioned that the opportunity for conversation about nature between you and your child is endless.   

About the Author

Isabell Hayden is a child author. She loves to draw, dance, read, and write. Isabell also enjoys building LEGOs with Dad, baking cupcakes with Grandma (while wearing matching aprons), solving challenging puzzles with Grandpa, playing beautiful tunes on the piano for her pup, Daisy, and, last but not least, reading a good book with Mom. Isabell hopes to write more books to share her love of nature and all things fun and creative.
