What made you want to
write this book?
Not
everyone knows it, but history is filled with hundreds of different
mythologies, and each one is bursting with a plethora of monsters and legends.
It’s a fascinating subject.
Now
imagine if all these stories were true, if all these deities were alive…
somewhere. That’s the idea behind the Vale
Investigation series.
Where do you get your storylines from?
Where do you get your storylines from?
The
idea is to make each book focus on a new mythology. They’re the driving force
behind each story.
Was this book easier to write than others?
I learn from my mistakes so I think each book gets a little easier. I know what my strengths are, the mistakes I often make, and what to be on the lookout for.
Do you only write one genre?
No.
The first series of novel I wrote, the Neve
& Egan Cases, were Cozy Mysteries. The new one I’m working on, Vale Investigation, is Urban Fantasy.
Do you have a specific place or setting where you write?
I’m
not particular about where I write. The only things I need are peace &
quiet, and a comfortable seat.
Describe what made you want to be a writer?
As far back as I can think off, I’ve always loved writing. Whether it was school essays or poems for mum. I wrote fanfictions as a teenagers, so writing novels was the natural progression.
